Nuro secures a CPUC permit to test robotaxi passenger service in California

NuroLucid–Nuro–Uber robotaxi

California's Public Utilities Commission granted Nuro a drivered pilot permit to test robotaxi passenger service with a safety operator aboard. This complements Nuro's existing California DMV permit for driverless testing of the robotaxi being developed with Uber and Lucid.
