LG Electronics takes 51% control of Bear Robotics and plans to merge its CLOi robots in
LG Electronics exercised a call option to buy another 30% of Bear Robotics, lifting its stake to 51% and making Bear a subsidiary. LG had first bought 21% for $60 million in March 2024. It plans to combine its CLOi commercial robots with Bear and use Bear's software across its robot businesses.
