Latent Labs launches Latent-X, designing protein binders in the browser
Latent LabsLatent-X2 & Latent-Y
Latent-X generates macrocycles and small protein binders atom by atom for targets it has never seen, through a no-code web platform with a free tier. In lab tests on seven targets most designs worked, a sharp contrast with the usual low hit rates of protein screening.
- Hit rates: 91-100% for macrocycles, 10-64% for mini-binders across 7 therapeutic targets.
- Mini-binders reached picomolar affinity, i.e. very tight binding.
- Company says it beat rival design models under identical lab conditions.
