Kioxia unveils CM10, its first PCIe 6.0 enterprise SSDs, built on BiCS FLASH 10
Kioxia announced the CM10 series of data-centre SSDs, its first on PCIe 6.0, using 332-layer BiCS FLASH 10 in most models. Some versions can be cooled by liquid cold plates. The drives were sampling to select customers.
- Capacities from 1.60 TB to 61.44 TB depending on form factor
- Up to about 92% faster sequential reads than the previous CM9
- Cold-plate liquid cooling option on E3.S and E1.S 9.5 mm drives
- 2.5-inch models still use 8th-generation flash
