John Deere unveils a fully autonomous 8R tractor at CES

At CES 2022 Deere showed an 8R tractor with a chisel plow that works without a driver. Six pairs of stereo cameras give 360-degree obstacle detection; a neural network classifies each image in about 100 milliseconds; the farmer starts and monitors the job from a phone app via the John Deere Operations Center.
