Ivanhoe sets 2026-27 Kamoa-Kakula guidance as dewatering advances and the smelter starts up

Ivanhoe guided 380,000-420,000 tonnes of copper for 2026 and 500,000-540,000 tonnes for 2027, keeping a medium-term target of about 550,000 tonnes a year. Dewatering of the flooded Kakula mine was about 70% complete on the western side and 60% on the eastern side. Start-up of the on-site smelter had been announced on 1 December.
- First nine months of 2025: 316,395 t of copper in concentrate.
- Concentrator capacity to reach 17 Mt/yr from 2027.
- 13.4 km of underground workings rehabilitated, 4.6 km of them dewatered.
