Intellia appoints Jing L. Marantz as Chief Medical Officer, effective October 26

Intellia Therapeutics has named Jing L. Marantz, M.D., Ph.D., Executive Vice President and Chief Medical Officer, effective October 26, 2026. She will lead the company's translational, development, regulatory and medical affairs functions. She most recently was CMO at Scholar Rock, where she oversaw the U.S. approval of ISEMBYLD.

• Her remit covers translational, development, regulatory and medical affairs
• Before Scholar Rock she held senior leadership roles at Krystal Biotech, Acceleron, Alnylam, Alexion, Biogen, ARIAD and Millennium Pharmaceuticals
• She also sits on the board of Arcturus Therapeutics
