Idemitsu Kosan begins construction on large-scale solid electrolyte pilot plant for Toyota

Idemitsu Kosan officially broke ground on a large-scale solid-electrolyte pilot plant in Ichihara, Chiba Prefecture. The facility is designed to achieve several hundred metric tons annual capacity, supporting Toyota's solid-state battery mass production scheduled for 2027–2028.
