HP unveils Metal Jet, its first metal additive manufacturing system, at IMTS in Chicago
HP announced Metal Jet, its first metal 3D printing platform, at the International Manufacturing Technology Show in Chicago. The binder-jet system promised 50 times higher productivity than selective laser melting at significantly lower cost. Partners GKN Powder Metallurgy and Parmatech placed orders.
