In its second Saudi national open call, Hevolution awarded two-year grants totalling 6.5M SAR to 13 scientists at Saudi institutions, with grants up to 500,000 SAR each. The awardees came from six major Saudi research institutions including KAIMRC, KAUST, King Saud University, and others.
- 13 scientists received 6.5M SAR total; individual grants up to 500,000 SAR for two-year research projects.
- Awardees from KAIMRC (5 projects), KAUST (3), King Saud University (2), plus Fakeeh College, Imam Abdulrahman Bin Faisal, and University of Tabuk.
- Second funding cycle brings total Saudi aging researchers supported by Hevolution to 24; foundation has committed over $200M globally to aging research.
