Hello unveils HR1, a Level 4 robotaxi with 50+ sensors, targeting mass production June 2026

Hello unveiled its first purpose-built robotaxi, the HR1, based on the Dongfeng Nissan Venucia VX6. The vehicle is equipped with eight lidars, 14 high-resolution cameras, six mm-wave radars, four blind-spot radars and 12 ultrasonic sensors. It uses dual automotive-grade controllers with 2,200+ TOPS processing power and runs end-to-end deep learning for autonomous driving.
