French government authorizes EDF to begin site preparation for two EPR2 reactors at Gravelines

France authorized EDF to begin preparatory work at the Gravelines nuclear power station for two future EPR2 reactors. This follows earlier authorization at Penly and enables EDF to advance site preparation and infrastructure planning ahead of the final investment decision expected by year-end 2026.
