Francis Van Parys appointed CEO, effective March 2, 2026

Oxford Nanopore appointed Francis Van Parys, former President and CEO of Radiometer, as Chief Executive Officer effective March 2, 2026. Van Parys brings over 20 years of leadership experience in life science businesses at Cytiva and GE Healthcare. Co-founder Gordon Sanghera stepped down from the Board on the same date and remained as an advisory employee through early 2027.

• Van Parys led Radiometer, a Danaher-owned acute care diagnostics company, before the appointment.
• He replaces Gordon Sanghera, who founded Oxford Nanopore in 2005 and led it through IPO and commercial scaling.
• The transition provides continuity with an experienced diagnostics and life sciences executive.
