At the AI Action Summit in Paris, Fluidstack signed a memorandum with the French government for an AI supercomputer of 1 GW, powered by France's mostly nuclear grid. Phase one would cost €10B, hold close to 500,000 AI chips and go live in 2026.
- Designed to scale beyond 1 GW by 2028.
- Fluidstack then managed over 100,000 GPUs; customers include Mistral AI, Character.AI, Poolside and Black Forest Labs.
- An MoU, not a final contract; financing still to be arranged.
