Anthropic picks Fluidstack to build custom data centres in Texas and New York in a $50B plan

Anthropic said it will spend $50B building its own AI data centres with Fluidstack, starting with sites in Texas and New York that power up through 2026. It marks a move beyond renting capacity from Google Cloud and AWS.

• About 800 permanent and 2,400 construction jobs expected.
