First Ohio-built Fury rolls out of Anduril's Arsenal-1 factory
Anduril IndustriesYFQ-44A Fury
The first YFQ-44A Fury built at Anduril's Arsenal-1 factory in Pickaway County, Ohio, rolled off the line, about 18 months after the plant was announced in January 2025. Fury is Anduril's uncrewed, semi-autonomous jet for the U.S. Air Force's Collaborative Combat Aircraft (CCA) program, drones meant to fly alongside crewed fighters.
- Arsenal-1 is a $1 billion, 5 million sq ft plant near Rickenbacker airport, sized for about 150 aircraft a year and 4,000 jobs.
- The Air Force's first CCA increment aims at 100–150 aircraft; the long-term goal is about 1,000.
- Anduril and General Atomics (YFQ-42A) are the two competitors in the first increment.
- Two weeks earlier the Air Force ran the first live-fire CCA test, launching an inert AIM-120 missile.
- Anduril had not said how many Furies it will build or how fast.
