Lockheed MartinAGM-183 ARRW

A B-52H from Edwards Air Force Base released the first complete, operationally configured ARRW off Southern California. The booster pushed it past Mach 5, and the glide vehicle finished its flight path and detonated in the target area. It was the third successful powered flight in a row after two booster-only tests in 2022.

  • Conducted by the 412th Test Wing with Lockheed Martin Missiles and Fire Control.
  • Earlier 2022 tests in May and July proved the booster alone.
  • Air Force Secretary Frank Kendall said he wanted more consistent performance before fielding.
