Fireblocks raises $550M Series E at an $8B valuation

Fireblocks raised $550 million co-led by D1 Capital Partners and Spark Capital, valuing it at $8 billion, five months after a round at $2.2 billion. Customers had grown from about 150 to over 800 in a year and revenue more than sixfold.

• Returning backers included Sequoia, Coatue, Ribbit, BNY Mellon and Paradigm.
• Valuation rose from $700M to $8B within about a year.
