A fire broke out at CGP3 on June 9, 2026, requiring 7 weeks of repairs and inspection. Existing plants CGP1 and CGP2 continued operating. IGO cut FY2026 guidance to 1.375–1.425 Mt (from 1.5–1.65 Mt) due to the fire and ore-grade decline.
