Energy Fuels produces first kilogram of 99.9% pure terbium oxide at White Mesa Mill, ending decades-long US supply gap

Energy Fuels successfully produced its first kilogram of 99.9% pure terbium oxide at its White Mesa Mill in Utah, from monazite ore sourced in Florida and Georgia. The company has also produced nearly 30 kg of dysprosium oxide at similar purity. These represent the first US primary production of heavy rare earths in decades, addressing supply-chain security concerns as dysprosium and terbium remain subject to Chinese export controls.
