Electric Boat reports 13% more submarine tonnage as supply chain stays the gating item

On General Dynamics' earnings call, Electric Boat reported a 13% productivity gain measured as submarine tonnage produced. GD's CEO said sole-source suppliers remain the main bottleneck.

• Partner yard HII raised productivity 14% in 2025 and hired 6,600 workers.
• Both yards were negotiating multiyear deals for 10 Virginia Block VI and five Columbia boats.
