Eavor Technologies launched drilling for its first commercial Eavor-Loop facility in Geretsried, Bavaria. The project features four concentric closed-loop systems at 4.5 km depth, designed to deliver 64 MWth thermal energy and 8.2 MWe electrical power to supply district heating and electricity to approximately 30,000 households.

• First commercial Eavor-Loop deployment; four closed-loop systems at 4,500 m depth
• Design target: 64 MWth thermal, 8.2 MWe electric for ~30,000 households
• No hydraulic fracturing; closed-loop eliminates seismic, water-depletion and contamination risks
• Partnership with Enex Power Germany for lease, surface assets and grid connection
