Eat Just pauses operations at its Singapore cultivated-meat production facility
Eat Just announced it had temporarily paused cultivated-meat operations at its Singapore facility while reassessing its Asia strategy. The $61 million Bedok plant, scheduled to open in 2023, and a planned $120 million JUST Egg factory in Singapore were shelved as the company reconsidered processing conditions and unit economics, while also ceasing supply to Huber's Bistro.
