Cursor 2.0 launches with Composer, Anysphere's in-house coding model
Cursor released version 2.0 with Composer, its first in-house coding model, which it said was four times faster than similarly capable models and finishes most tasks in under 30 seconds. The redesigned interface centres on agents, letting several run in parallel, and adds a built-in browser so agents can test their own work.
- Composer trained with codebase-wide semantic search, enabling better understanding of large projects.
- Multi-agent interface executes agents simultaneously without conflicts via git worktrees or remote machines.
- Built-in browser enables agents to validate work and iterate automatically until correct; streamlined code review and native testing.
