Covestro and Rondo Energy celebrated a groundbreaking for a 100 MWh heat battery system at the Brunsbüttel site in Germany. The system is backed by Breakthrough Energy Catalyst and the European Investment Bank, and will eliminate 13,000 tonnes of CO₂ emissions per year.
