CAAC issues first operator certificates for EH216-S passenger flights

EHang's subsidiary EHang General Aviation and its Hefei joint venture HeYi Aviation received China's first air operator certificates for pilotless passenger aircraft. The certificates let them sell tickets for EH216-S sightseeing and tourism flights in Guangzhou and Hefei. EHang is now the world's first eVTOL company to hold the complete regulatory suite: type certificate, production certificate, airworthiness certificate and operator certificate.
