Brunp files for CNY 1.07B, 300,000 t/yr expansion to recycle iron-phosphate batteries in Yichang

Yichang Brunp Recycling Technology published an environmental impact notice for a roughly CNY 1.07B expansion to process 300,000 t a year of used lithium-iron-phosphate (LFP) battery packs.

• Inputs: LFP packs, modules, cells, battery powder and electrode scrap.
• Investment: CNY 1,065.5 million.
• The notice opened the project's environmental review to public comment; no completion date was given.
