BrainOS Clean 2.0 lets Tennant floor-cleaning robots plan their own routes
Brain Corp released BrainOS Clean 2.0 with SelfPath, which lets Tennant's X-series scrubbers generate and adjust their own cleaning routes instead of repeating a route taught by hand. Better visual perception helps them understand their surroundings and reroute around obstacles. Rollout to select robots began the week of April 6, with the whole X-series fleet due in May 2026.
- Reported gains: 22% more floor coverage, with 55% better autonomy from fewer manual interventions.
- Deployment more than 3x faster because no route training is needed.
- Tennant robotics SVP Pat Schottler backed the release.
