Brain Corp and Driveline Retail launch ShelfOptix, a managed robot shelf-scanning service
Brain Corp and merchandising firm Driveline Retail launched ShelfOptix, a service in which portable, foldable scanning robots audit shelves without the retailer owning or running them. Driveline's field staff move the robots between stores and fix the problems found. Southeastern Grocers, parent of Winn-Dixie, is piloting it.
- Driveline has 15,000+ field representatives and a 30,000+ store network.
- Initial focus: on-shelf availability and compliance checks.
- The partners expected thousands of robots deployed by end of 2026.
