Boeing takes full ownership of Wisk
Boeing became the sole owner of self-flying air taxi developer Wisk, buying out Larry Page's Kitty Hawk, which had shut down in 2022; terms were not disclosed. Because Wisk is going straight to pilotless flight, it expects a longer FAA certification timeline than piloted rivals Joby and Archer.

- Kitty Hawk ceased operations in 2022 before Boeing's full buyout
