BEST main machine enters four-ring assembly phase, on track for late 2027 first plasma

BEST's main machine entered the critical four-ring assembly stage in late 2025 to early 2026, with installation of core systems including the vacuum chamber, cryogenic shield, and toroidal field magnets well underway. The project remains on schedule for first plasma in late 2027.
