Aztec Network mainnet Ignition launches with 500+ sequencers

On November 19, 2025, Aztec launched the Ignition mainnet, a consensus-producing chain that generates blocks every 36-72 seconds without initial smart contract execution. 500 sequencers staked tokens and began producing blocks with four proving entities generating cryptographic proofs.
