Aspen completes ASPIRO dosing with a frozen, ready-to-inject cell product ahead of phase 3

Aspen Neuroscience/Sasineprocel (ANPD001)

Aspen finished dosing cohorts 3 and 4 of its phase 1/2a trial, bringing the total to 15 patients. These were the first patients to receive a cryopreserved thaw-and-inject formulation instead of freshly prepared cells, a change needed to ship personalised cells to many surgical centres. The company is assembling its phase 3 package.
