ARPA-H awards $144M to seven teams for PROSPR aging research program
ARPA-HPROSPR (Proactive Solutions for Prolonging Resilience)
ARPA-H announced $144 million over five years for PROSPR, the US government's first program directly targeting aging as a treatable condition. Seven research teams at academic institutions and biotechs will conduct phase 3 clinical trials of rapamycin analogs, SGLT2 inhibitors, semaglutide and retrotransposon inhibitors, aiming to establish regulatory pathways for aging drugs.
