Anthropic commits $100 million to train 10,000 Frontier Deployed Engineers by the end of 2027
Anthropic is putting $100 million into Claude Frontier Academy, aiming to train 10,000 Frontier Deployed Engineers by the end of 2027 to help enterprises deploy Claude. The first program pairs a multi-day in-person course with a 12-week residency in which each engineer leads a real Claude use case at their own organization.
- The course ends with a graded practical; passing the end-of-residency assessment earns the Claude Frontier Deployed Engineer badge, with the first badges expected in early 2027.
- Cohorts are running now in San Francisco, New York and London.
- Early cohorts include engineers from Accenture, Bain, Capgemini, Commonwealth Bank of Australia, Deloitte, McKinsey, Morgan Stanley and Novo Nordisk.
- Participation is by nomination; candidates need strong software fundamentals and a record of building with LLMs, and prior agent experience is not required.
