Amgen initiates Phase 3 MARITIME program for MariTide across obesity, diabetes and heart failure

Amgen launched the MARITIME Phase 3 program, comprising six global trials of MariTide across obesity, type 2 diabetes, heart failure, kidney disease and obstructive sleep apnea. MARITIME-1 (obesity) and MARITIME-2 (type 2 diabetes) are enrolling ~3,500 and ~1,000 subjects respectively, with primary readouts expected in early 2027.
