American Bitcoin exercised an option to buy 16,299 Antminer U3S21EXPH machines from Bitmain, totalling about 14 EH/s. Instead of cash, it pledged 2,234 bitcoin, which it can redeem within 24 months, showing how Bitmain finances sales with bitcoin collateral.
