Aurora fast microreactor, fuel recycling
Builds Aurora, a small liquid-metal-cooled fast reactor, and sells its power as a service instead of selling reactors. NYSE-listed since 2024, it broke ground on its first Aurora at Idaho National Laboratory in September 2025.
- The NRC rejected its first licence application in 2022; Oklo then sought DOE approval for the INL unit.
- Aurora-INL (75 MWe) broke ground in Sept 2025; DOE approved its preliminary safety analysis in June 2026.
- Big pipeline of data-centre customers, including a Meta deal for a site in Ohio.
