A fund, security or bond is registered with Securitize and issued as an ERC-20 token on Ethereum. Each token represents fractional ownership.
Cash, bonds or fund shares are held in traditional custodians (banks, transfer agents). Securitize issues tokens that represent claims on those assets.
When tokens change hands, the transaction is verified on-chain. Yield is distributed daily as token rebases, not annual dividend payments.
All token transfers are gated by KYC/AML checks. Securitize's transfer-agent license ensures compliance with US securities regulations.
