JL MAG receives Chinese export licences for magnets to the US, Europe and Southeast Asia

JL MAG said it had obtained export licences for some magnet products, allowing shipments to customers in the US, Europe and Southeast Asia. China had put seven mid-to-heavy rare earths and magnets containing them under export control in April 2025, which roughly halved magnet exports that month. The news came right after a US-China trade understanding in London.
