Technical approach
High-speed suction motors
Dreame began by building fast brushless motors; its robots now quote 35,000 to 42,000 Pa of suction, among the highest in the category.
Arms that reach corners
A round robot can't reach into corners, so Dreame adds side brushes and mops that swing outward; robots with its Flex Arm passed one million sold by July 2024.
Cameras plus laser ranging
Two AI cameras and a retractable laser rangefinder map rooms and recognise hundreds of object types, so the robot steers around cables, socks and pet mess.
A dock that does the chores
The base empties the dust bin, washes mops in 100°C water, dries them and refills water, so owners touch the robot only every few months.
