The brief
- Fleuron enables 8x more region access and 32x more sensors per thread than standard flexible probes.
- Clinical collaboration with Mass General Brigham and The Panama Clinic, with research published in Nature.
- Subsidiary in Grenoble, France opened to support European expansion and manufacturing.
Technical approach
Ultrasoft polymer
Fleuron is 10,000x softer than polyimide. The softness matches brain tissue density and reduces scar tissue formation, keeping recordings stable over time.
More electrodes per thread
Fleuron allows more electrode sites in smaller threads, giving access to more brain regions and capturing more neural signals simultaneously.
Long-term signal quality
Reduced scarring means neural recordings remain stable over years, not months, necessary for implants meant to be permanent or nearly permanent.
