Volkswagen Group's mobility division MOIA develops autonomous electric shuttles built on the ID.Buzz platform. It operates ridepooling services in Hamburg and expands to Europe and the US with the production-ready ID.Buzz AD using Mobileye self-driving technology.

• MOIA operates Europe's largest electric ridepooling service in Hamburg since 2019, 12+ million trips.
• July 2026: launched autonomous ID.Buzz AD testing in Hamburg, 5 vehicles expanding to 10; driverless 2027.
• ID.Buzz AD uses Mobileye autonomous tech with 27 sensors (13 cameras, 9 LiDARs, 5 radars) for SAE Level 4.
