MOIA launches passenger testing of autonomous ID.Buzz AD in Hamburg with 5 vehicles

MOIA began a public test phase in Hamburg, deploying five autonomous ID.Buzz AD vehicles with safety monitors onboard. Preregistered residents can book free rides through the MOIA app in parts of Winterhude, Barmbek and Wandsbek. The fleet is planned to expand to 10 vehicles; full driverless approval is targeted for 2027.
