YMTC expands mass production of 267-layer Xtacking 4.0 NAND, targets 15% market share by end-2026

YMTC (Yangtze Memory)/Xtacking 3D NAND

YMTC was producing 3D NAND with 267 active layers using Xtacking 4.0, in 1 Tb TLC and 2 Tb QLC chips, narrowing the gap with Samsung and SK hynix. With about 8% of the world NAND market, it aimed to reach 15% by the end of 2026, mainly through Chinese demand.
