Xaira Therapeutics launches with $1 billion Series A to build AI-powered drug discovery platform
Xaira Therapeutics announced its public launch with over $1 billion in Series A funding from ARCH Venture Partners and Foresite Capital as lead investors, joined by F-Prime, NEA, Sequoia, Lux, Lightspeed, Two Sigma Ventures, and others. Led by Marc Tessier-Lavigne, former Genentech CSO and president of Rockefeller and Stanford, with co-founder David Baker from UW's Institute for Protein Design. The funding represents ARCH's largest initial commitment to a startup.
