Worldcoin launches its token and Orb verification globally

Tools for Humanity/World ID and the Orb

Worldcoin, co-founded by Sam Altman, Alex Blania and Max Novendstern, went live: its WLD token was minted and given to beta users, the World ID software kit was released, and Orb iris-scanning sign-ups were set to expand to 35+ cities in 20+ countries. World ID is meant to prove online that someone is a unique human without revealing who they are.
