Westinghouse and Amentum sign strategic partnership to accelerate AP1000 delivery and advance AP300 small modular reactor NRC certification

Westinghouse Electric Company and engineering firm Amentum entered into a series of collaborative agreements to strengthen the APX platform (AP1000 and AP300 reactors). Amentum will enhance Westinghouse's engineering and execution capabilities for AP1000 fleet deployment while also contributing expertise to advance AP300 regulatory documentation and NRC certification.
