WeRide and Uber launch robotaxi rides in Abu Dhabi

Uber and WeRide began offering robotaxi rides in Abu Dhabi on the Uber app between Saadiyat Island, Yas Island and Zayed International Airport, with human safety operators supervising initially. The launch marked Uber's first robotaxi service outside the US and established the largest commercial robotaxi fleet outside the US and China.
