Warner Music settles with Udio and licenses its catalogue for a 2026 platform

Warner Music Group resolved its lawsuit with Udio and signed a licence covering its recordings and publishing. The planned service lets users make remixes, covers and new songs with the voices and compositions of participating artists, who are credited and paid.

• Models for the service are trained only on licensed and authorised music.
• Artist participation is opt-in.
• Udio keeps its current closed system running until the licensed service launches.
